Sometimes the scrapbooking mojo just leaves. You know you want to get your hands in there, play with paper, but you just can't figure out what to do. how to do it. Or the right pictures to work with. It becomes a chore. I hate that.
I was feeling terribly uncreative one night and mentioned it to my girl Meag. She of course sent me down some tangent (as we are wont to do) and got me thinking about different things. Next thing I know I'm pulling out my old photo album from first year in college (where we lived next door to each other) and going through those photos.
Oh! I say, a photo of E! (her husband) We go on about how he looks so much younger and has aged quite well. Another comment about my ex from them looking so much younger as well.
Then Meag says it. "We haven't aged at all" in reference to she and I. And she's right. We look so similar to when we were younger, I'm a little curvier (fatter) and she's a little blonder (was a little blonder) and sure we've learned a thing or two but we're still US. And I love it.
I'll do another one with older pictures of us, probably to go with this one, but for now I love this.
