Good News!

Boyfriend and I got engaged!

He proposed Thursday evening with the help of a friend or two and of course I said yes. It's very exciting to actually be planning our wedding, when we've been talking and dreaming about it since six months into the relationship.

That being said, things are a little hectic here now, but I'm still very excited to take on the wedding planning. I went out and bought an organizer plus a few other books on weddings and what to do (I always have to have a book). Any sort of links, supplies and other tips/suggestions you, my lovely readers, can provide will be much appreciated.

St. Thomas = Paradise

We had a blast. I apologize that it took me so long to get photos to you all. It's been stressful the past few weeks, between getting Champ home and then everything else going on. I worked dillegently on finishing some cards for a swap and that's all the scrapping I've been able to get together. I'm hoping this week gives me options for more creative outlooks.

But without further stalling...some photos from the trip!

It's blue, it comes in a fish bowl with a plastic shark (who is eating a plastic skeleton) and it tastes wonderful. And it is 100% not good for you.

Finally...

I keep starting this post and then things get in the way.

The photos I took that afternoon came out so lovely it surprised me. That's what it's like to take photos in the Atlanta summer I suppose.

Super happy it's Sunday, even if this Sunday means I'm at the office working. It's nice to be on a normal schedule again. The idea of making dinner with boyfriend (Champ) and his roommate or my roommate in the evening just makes me happy. Or the idea of going to the gym in the evening and seeing a new set of familar faces. I love that I recognize people there. It makes me happy. For some stupid reason I honestly love that place. I need to photograph it.

Boyfriend loved it. This is his favorite part of my scrapping habits: when he's the focus. Gotta love him. I finished up another C2P LO, but haven't had a chance to photograph it yet. Champ's grandfather passed away this week and as soon as I could join him with his family I did. The rest of the weekend was spent keeping him busy and happy, so my things got put to the side briefly. Hopefully I'll have things to show off later this week.

Home sweet home!

Hey all!

I'm home from the cruise bearing quite the sunburn (oops) which is finally starting to fade and have a ton of pictures that need to be sorted and posted. Soon I promise. I've also been scrapping today which means I might even have pages to be posted soon.

For those of you who haven't figured it out yet, Amy asked me to join the Inspiration Squad over at Commit2Paper. This is possibly the coolest thing that has ever happened to me. Seriously. But if you're looking for a new kit...This would be the one. And I swear I'm not biased or anything. Ok maybe just a little.

We've had some crazy weather around Atlanta the past few days (tornadoes in the city!) and it's def made things a little nerve wracking. Thankfully not a lot of people were hurt in the storms (as far as I know, the first night was a shock, but the second night the city was more prepared). Even better today was gorgeous. Champ and I walked to the local pizza place and had a nice lunch outside. It would seem spring is coming! (the tornadoes mean that too right?)

This week will be tons of fun celebrating Champ's birthday! (he's turning 25!)

Quite Exciting

Boyfriend and I did Christmas a little early this year (we will both go home for the actual holiday on Saturday and then I'm in the process of moving across the complex so I'm super busy with that all week). I got to open my big present last night. Seriously, yall he's amazing.

He got me a Cricut! Plus the tool kit, plus extra mats, plus the carrying case to put it in. I started crying. He's too good to me. Spoils me. (No worries, I spoiled him too with new clothes, a Nintendo DS and an adorable Build-a-Bear Polar bear).

I played with it last night (talk about a good way to get the creative juices flowing) and I designed up a LO to do for my trip to NYC this past weekend. Only problems, I didn't have any of my tools/glue/stuffs at boyfriends so the actual page will have to wait just a little bit longer to finish up. Not to mention i don't have the pictures printed up yet. Oh well right?

I'm still keeping track of my daily stuff for my December book I want to do (Dec 1- 25). I haven't had time to make up the book but taking notes, remembering to take pictures and such is fun. And it's a good way to keep track. Hopefully I can work on it while I'm at home visiting the parents for the holiday.
