I'm still crushed about my boy Peyton's loss. So not fair and I don't think the Chargers played a good game. They just got lucky. UGH. a glimpse of the past few days

1) love the way this turned out. Surprised really. I love the way it's framed. And all I was goin for a was a shot of my groovy eye makeup. 2) Love the windows in the hanger at night. I like the way it just glows that golden color. One of the perks of the job. 3) Un-christmasing the office. The co-ops started to take down the tree. Guess I should take down the one at home. 4) The guy at the greek resturant who intrigues me so much. I want to know everything about him. Too bad that just makes me kind of stalkerish. 5) Me at work. Doing the engineer stuff. loving how shiny my hair is! good news = sticky situation

So it would seem ScrapGoods is back in business. This is a good thing. I really like the kits and the new technique each month. But I'm a big fan of Little Red Scrapbook (which I started getting in December after ScrapGoods announced that they might not come back after a January hiatus). Plus I wanted to try out a few others (like the Story of My Life kits--which I might still get an old one or two after pay day--and the It Kit). Supposedly though for Feb they are just doing an expansion kit for December's kit. which is cool enough. i like the stitching technique. I can do an alternating month in expense kit, but I really can't go full throttle with two. I mean I can but I won't get to buy anything else fun or for scrapbooking. We'll see. I've got to dig into the LRS kit a little bit more....

sneak peek + musings

A little sneak peek at a LO i just finished last night. Trying something different, something a little...outside the box. Pulled the idea from Catagory Stories blog challenge. Which I grabbed off lara's blog. Scrapping about toys. fun stuff. Also the picture for my 365 self portrait. Day 5. So far so good. I've missed getting a few shots in before the midnight mark, but i've gotten them in before bed. To me, it's still the same day. So perhaps a post a day was a little hasty. As usually on the weekends I don't have time to do a post a day or anything worthwile to post here about (since this is supposed to be about the art...right?). I did get two more LOs finished up the past few days so I'll work on getting those posted up later this...

Not a bad shot for Day 2 huh? love my eyes here. I enjoy these flah pictures. I don't know why. I guess i like what comes up around the edge of the the picture. They are fun to scrap too because they have so much light. Maybe that's just me. Hoping to get some good scrapping done and some even better uploading this weekend. Ring in that new year

First day of the daily picture. It's Ed from work. We had sparkling cider to ring in the new year. I took my self portrait too, but don't feel like posting it as Ed is cuter. it's at rocket girl though (the "rocketgirl" link off to the right).Last night i played a long with some of the "scrap in the new year" challenges after getting home from work. Ok maybe kind of not really. I did the card (which i'm going to send to someone sweet...who wants it?) and then i started up a LO. By then it was about 330am so I decided I should go to bed. Hopefully some more stuff in the AM before work. HOPEFULLY. If not major scrapping on Thursday when not hanging out with best friend and her husband (and boyfriend when he gets off work)....
